چکیده
The high sensitivity of loess slopes to water has been emphasized in many studies. However, it is still limited terms the understanding slope morphological differentiation on overall and local failure patterns slopes, as well acquisition method hydrological dynamics. In this study, rainfall characteristics surface differences were introduced. Geoelectric environmental factors monitored. On basis, apparent resistivity corrected by seasonal temperature its relationship with soil content was calibrated. migration potential three morphologies evaluated. results are: (i) improved can better reflect flow movement within slope, performs after being temperature; (ii) runoff infiltration are directly affected cumulative value, especially when >70 mm threshold, quickly infiltrates into deep along preferential paths; (iii) interception ability morphology concave > convex linear slope; (iv) continuous rainfall, a prone be damaged saturated mud flow. When threshold 70 mm, easily excited resulting collapse at toe mid-deep landslides.

Overpressure and fluid flow in the new jersey continental slope: implications for slope failure and cold seeps
Miocene through Pleistocene sediments on the New Jersey continental slope (Ocean Drilling Program Site 1073) are undercompacted (porosity between 40 and 65%) to 640 meters below the sea floor, and this is interpreted to record fluid pressures that reach 95% of the lithostatic stress. A two-dimensional model, where rapid Pleistocene sedimentation loads permeable sandy silt of Miocene age, succes...
متن کاملSlope Stability Analysis Under Combined Failure Criteria
Strength reduction finite element method (SRFEM) has been widely used to analyze the slope stability. Strength Reduction Factor (SRF) is yielded as the slope Factor Of Safety (FOS) when a running-though shear failure zone comes into being, in which the Plastic Element EQuivalent strain (PEEQ) is employed as the judgment of shear failure initiation in this paper. Moreover, the filed variable is ...
متن کاملInstrumental record of debris flow initiation during natural rainfall: Implications for modeling slope stability
[1] The middle of a hillslope hollow in the Oregon Coast Range failed and mobilized as a debris flow during heavy rainfall in November 1996. Automated pressure transducers recorded high spatial variability of pore water pressure within the area that mobilized as a debris flow, which initiated where local upward flow from bedrock developed into overlying colluvium. Postfailure observations of th...

متن کاملSLOPE PROFILE MORPHOMETRY AS AN INDICATOR FOR SLOPE MOVEMENT
Two dimensional slope profile morphometric investigation in a part of the land failure prone Garhwal region of the Lesser Himalaya, Tehri district, U. P., India, indicates that the landslip morphology is closely related to the dominant movement processes active in this terrain. Technique developed for the morphometric analysis of landslips involves the use of five morphometric indices. Each ind...
